An array is a sequential collection of elements of same data type and stores data elements in a continuous memory location.

  • A jagged array is an array whose elements are arrays, possibly of different sizes.

        int[] array1 = new int[5];

        // Declare and set array element values.
        int[] array2 = new int[] { 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 };
